Terms and Conditions

1. Driver Requirements & Documentation

To rent and operate a self-drive vehicle, the driver must provide the following documents upon delivery:

• Minimum Age: Drivers must be between 21 and 65 years old.
• International Driving Permit (IDP): Non-Indonesian citizens must hold a valid International Driving Permit accompanied by their national driver's license.
• National License: Indonesian citizens must hold a valid SIM A.
• Identification: A valid Passport (for foreigners) or KTP (for Indonesian citizens) is required.
• Verification: The name on the booking, credit card/payment, and driver's license must match.

2. Rental Period & Extension Policy

• Minimum Rental: The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
• Daily Calculation: Rental duration is calculated on a 24-hour basis.
• Overtime Charges: A grace period of 1 hour is given for returns. Late returns beyond 1 hour will be charged an overtime fee of 10% of the daily rate per hour.
• Full Day Charge: Returns delayed by more than 4 hours will automatically be charged as one full additional day.
• Extensions: If you wish to extend your rental, you must notify us at least 24 hours before your original rental period ends. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability.

3. Payment, Deposit, and Cancellations

• Payment Methods: We accept major Credit Cards, Bank Transfers, and secure online payment gateways.
• Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required upon vehicle delivery to cover potential minor damages, fuel shortages, or traffic fines. This will be refunded within 1–3 business days after the car is returned safely.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a 1-day rental cancellation fee.
  • No-shows or cancellations on the day of rental are non-refundable.

4. Insurance & Liability (Own Damage Waiver)

• Standard Insurance: All our self-drive cars include standard third-party liability insurance.
• Damage Excess Fee: In the event of an accident, scratches, or minor damage to the vehicle, the renter is liable for a maximum excess fee (deductible) of [ IDR 500,000 to IDR 1,500,000 ] per incident, provided the renter was driving legally.
• Total Loss or Theft: If the vehicle is completely totaled or stolen during the rental period, the renter may be held responsible for up to 10% to 20% of the market value of the car if negligence is proven.
• Insurance Void: Insurance becomes completely void if the driver is found under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving without a valid IDP/license, or violating Indonesian traffic laws.

5. Fuel Policy

• Like-for-Like: The vehicle will be delivered to you with a certain fuel level (usually full). You must return the vehicle with the same level of fuel.
• Refueling Charge: If the car is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge plus a service convenience fee will be deducted from your security deposit.

6. Vehicle Usage & Restrictions

• Geographical Restriction: The vehicle is strictly for use within the island of Bali. Taking the vehicle outside of Bali ( Lombok or Java via ferry ) is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
• Prohibited Activities: The vehicle must not be used for off-roading, racing, towing other vehicles, commercial transport of goods, or any illegal activities.
• Strict No-Smoking Policy: Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. A deep-cleaning sanitization fee of IDR 1,000,000 will be applied if the car smells of smoke upon return.
• Pets: Pets are generally not allowed unless kept inside an approved pet travel carrier. Extra cleaning fees apply for pet hair or stains.

7. Traffic Violations & Fines

• Renter Responsibility: The renter is entirely responsible for all traffic fines, illegal parking tickets, electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) penalties, and toll fees incurred during the rental period.
• Delayed Fines: If a traffic fine notification arrives after the rental period has ended, we reserve the right to charge the renter's credit card or deduct it from the deposit.

8. Breakdown, Accidents, and Maintenance

• Emergency Support: In case of a mechanical breakdown, flat tire, or accident, contact our 24/7 Roadside Assistance immediately at +6285119339635.
• Unauthorized Repairs: The renter must not attempt to repair the vehicle or replace parts without our explicit written permission.
• Reporting Accidents: Any accident involving third parties must be reported to us immediately, and a local police report must be filed to process insurance claims.

9. Vehicle Condition Upon Return

• Inspection: The car will be inspected by our staff together with the renter at both pick-up and drop-off. Any new damages not recorded on the initial inspection sheet will be charged to the renter.
• Excessive Dirt: If the car is returned with excessive mud, stains, or an unhygienic interior requiring professional detailing, an extra cleaning fee will be charged.
